The Be Here en Plein Air Art Festival & Competition is open to artists of all ages and skill levels who work in any “two dimensional” media with the exception of photography. Artists may set up anywhere within the competition area (see attached map) and will have three hours to create their works before judging.
Artists will bring their own supplies, easel, etc. A panel of three judges will evaluate the works, and a people’s choice prize will also be awarded.
First Place $500, Second Place $250, Third Place, $100.
Artists have the option of selling their artwork during open sales after judging with a 70/30 split commission. 30% will count as a donation split between the Arts Council and the Downtown Beaufort Development Association.
